Terms of Use

Last updated: 19 September 2026

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Who operates this website

I Wanna Live in Australia is operated independently by an individual based in Western Australia, Australia. It is not currently operated through a company. Contact: hello@iwannaliveinaustralia.com.

Using the website

You may use this website for your own personal, lawful purposes. Please do not misuse it, attempt to break its security, scrape it at scale, or submit content you do not have the right to submit.

General information only

Everything on this website — including comparisons, salary figures, cost of living numbers, city guides, checklists, tools and visa pages — is general information. It is not tailored to your circumstances, it may become out of date, and it may contain errors. We do not guarantee that it is complete, current or suitable for you.

This website does not give migration advice

This website does not provide immigration assistance or regulated migration advice, and nothing on it should be relied on as such. In Australia, only a registered migration agent or an Australian legal practitioner may give immigration assistance. Always confirm current requirements with the Department of Home Affairs and, if you need advice, speak to a professional registered with OMARA. If that ever changes, this page will say so.

Nothing on this website is financial, tax, legal, employment or property advice either. Please take your own professional advice before making decisions.

Third-party businesses and links

The website may list, describe or link to third-party businesses and websites. Those businesses are independent of us and responsible for their own services, prices, conduct and content. Their appearance here is not an endorsement, verification or guarantee, and any dealings you have with them are between you and them.

Referral and commercial relationships

The website may receive referral fees, commissions, listing fees or advertising fees from businesses that appear here or that receive an enquiry you asked us to pass on. See the Commercial Disclosure. Your enquiry is only shared with a partner if you have given separate permission on the form.

Enquiries and stories you send us

You keep ownership of the words and any material you send us. If you give permission for your story to be considered for publication, you allow us to publish, edit, shorten and anonymise it on this website and you may withdraw that permission at any time. Nothing is published unless it has been approved first. Please do not send us information about other identifiable people, especially children, without their permission. How we handle your personal information is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Our content

The text, design, images and tools on this website are owned by or licensed to the operator. You may read, share and link to pages, but please do not copy or republish substantial parts without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this website, or from your reliance on its general information, or from your dealings with a third-party business.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and, for UK visitors, your rights under UK consumer law. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or the cost of doing so.

Availability and changes

The website may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn at any time. These terms may be updated from time to time, and the date at the top shows when they last were. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in another country, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the place where you live.

Complaints and contact

Please email hello@iwannaliveinaustralia.com with anything you are unhappy about, including anything on the site you believe is inaccurate or unclearly labelled. We will look into it and reply as promptly as we can.
